A Bespoke Approach
Dr Robert Stone combines the art of dentistry with the scientific evidence-base to provide you with an advanced approach to dentistry that is individually tailored to your needs. We aim to help you maintain or improve your oral health.
When we look after our patients, we look at the whole person, not just an individual tooth. We aim to inform our patients, fully educate them about dentistry and how best to care for their complete oral health. This allows patients to understand their own requirements and decide on how they want to address them.
Our approach is extremely thorough as outlined in the Initial Consultation.
We gather all the relevant information, consider the data, diagnose the issues and create a bespoke plan to meet your long-term individual needs.
Initial Consultation
At this visit we will take a detailed medical and dental history before discussing your personal dental needs and requests. We will then carry out a full Oral Health Examination which will include the following;
- Oral Cancer Screening by examining the soft tissue lining of your mouth.
- Periodontal examination to establish the health of your gums.
- Clinical examination of your teeth.
- Clinical charting of your existing restorations.
- Examination of your bite and chewing efficiency.
- Examination of your jaw and jaw joint.
- Examination of your lymph nodes and salivary glands.
- X-ray examination of your teeth and jaw bones.
This appointment usually last about one hour. We will give you feedback on all our findings before giving you advice on how to maintain or improve your oral health. Any treatment required will be discussed along with the fees involved. A full written treatment plan and relevant costing will be provided before proceeding with any treatment.

In the case on an out of hours dental emergency, please call the practice on 0207 580 0646 and make a note of both telephone numbers provided by our answering service. These numbers will allow you to contact Dr Stone, Dr Cope or an appropriate on-call dentist.
