Robert trained at the University of Birmingham, before undertaking the Master of Science degree in Conservative Dentistry at the world renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute. Robert completed studying full time for this degree with distinction before being taken onto the staff.

Robert joined the long established dental practice at 2 Harcourt House in 2003 and became the principle partner in 2007.

In addition to private practice, Robert works as a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow in Restorative Dentistry at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute where he lectures, provides practical clinical teaching and co-ordinates the Diploma and Master of Science in Restorative Dental Practice. Robert also lectures and teaches stand alone study days nationally and internationally. Subjects include dental implants, aesthetics, occlusion, bonded porcelain restorations, and anterior composite restorations, as well as the biomimetic approach.

As well as delivering postgraduate education, Robert has maintained his commitment to his professional development, regularly attending study programmes in the UK, Europe and the United States.
